Default Syracuse, NY and Auburn, NY testing 2012

The official announcement will be coming in the next couple weeks so more info to come. The test will be in March of 2012. That is all I have as of right now, will post more as more information becomes available. As always if anyone has anything else to add feel free to post. I believe the fee for each test is $35, but don't quote me on that.

Here's the link for Syracuse...I haven't read it yet so I'm not sure about residency.

"RESIDENCE REQUIREMENT FOR EXAMINATION: At time of application candidates must be legal residents of Onondaga County."

I hear ya man, terrible! and more and more departments are doing it. Onondoga didnt have residency last year, now they do.

You know what it?? it is what it is..if they want to screw the local economy by not allowing out of towners to come into test, get a hotel, eat, get gas, etc then that is their problem..It's nice up there too..like the snow and the cold...It just comes down to they don't want to open the talent pool up..

thank you to esilliman and rescue 1 for posting the links. have been out of the area for the past couple days and away from my laptop to be able to post them up. The Syracuse announcement is for Syracuse, Dewitt, and Tully. Both the Auburn and Syracuse test are $25 application fees
