    Default written exams

To everyone: this is my first post at firehouse and to say the least this has been an incredibly beneficial site so far! over the next few months i have several written tests scheduled. any advice for how to study for them i picked up a book the other day that goes over mechanical, math, reading, etc. but any and every piece of advice would be of help. the first test is coming up in about three weeks!

    thanks

I wrote a book called Smoke Your Firefighter Written Exam. It teaches how to do math, spacial relations, mechanical advantage, reading comprehension and everything else you will encounter on a written exam. It is available at all of the usual places. I am confident that it will help you pass the written exams. Good luck in your endeavors!

Another great book is Norman Hall's Firefighter Exam Preparation Book. I've seen a few test with word for word questions out of it!
    Good Luck.
