2011 AFG Cost Allowances

Now that there has been a few rounds of awards it's time to start developing an AFG cost allowance document in preperation for the 2012 AFG cycle.

As in the past, please provide a list of equipment and/or apparatus that has been awarded and the award amount. In addition, please indicate if the award amount had been reduced for any of the equipment. Thanks.

We were approved for an SCBA project at $113,000 (including our 5% share). We requested 17 new SCBA with mask and spare bottle, and an additional 30 facepieces.

17 complete @ $5,500 = $93,500
30 facepiece @ $650 = $19,500

Are the SCBA equipped with 30 or 45 minute cylinders?

45 minute cylinders.

Here is the updated list as of today.

144 lengths of hose 3 1/2" or less- $279 per 50'section - no deduction
30 nozzles @ $895 each - no deduction
rescue boat under 20 ft - $60,000 no deduction

What type/size nozzles did you get funding for?

We are geting 20- 1 1/2" combination nozzles, 5- 2 1/2" combination nozzles and 5 playpipes. The $895 is what averaged out for the whole package. I used the figures from last years list. I hope that this helps out.
