Brother I understand. As you know the City isn't all cake and ice cream. There are areas that if the Truck or Quint doesn't go first and get their position, they will get blocked out by the wagon.

There was no laundry. It was a simple disagreement over compartments. Sorry it was so stressful for you.

It's funny, I tried to direct this back to talking about Bull's ALF Chrome Yellow Quint and I get dragged back into this nonsense.

    Bull,

Have you got all the equipment on board yet? I would love to see pics of the compartments to see how you loaded them.

We've not got all of the equipment on the truck yet. It came in a month earlier than we had expected so we are still waiting on some/most of the tools to arrive. As soon as we get everything and installed I'll post some more pictures.

However, in spite of the school bus yellow, it is a nice looking quint. Maybe we could have a painting party. I'll bring the brownies.

When I was a kid I thought Mack and Firetruck meant the same thing. And when I got to ride on one on my POC FD I knew I was right! Now that Mack CF is MINE!!

For MVAs on the 4 lane she will roll out 2nd after the rescue pumper.
Just keep in mind that when you commit that truck to pumping a fire, that is where it will stay. So if you're running hand lines for fire attack on side Alpha and someone calls for the stick on Charlie, it's going to be a process to get it there.

You are welcome at the fire house anytime, and we would love for you to bring some of your brownies, just leave your paint brush at home!

Since he actually owns a Mack does that make him Brad Pitt?
I can't believe they actually pay me to do this!!!

One friend noted yesterday that a fire officer only carries a flashlight, sometimes prompting grumbling from firefighters who have to lug tools and hoses.
"The old saying is you never know how heavy that flashlight can become," the friend said.
