LOVELAND, CO. Super Vacuum Manufacturing will pack up its 150 employees, a 52-year history in Loveland and several big, red firetrucks next month when it starts moving operations to Fort Collins, CO

The family-owned manufacturer of firefighting equipment announced recently that it had bought a building in northeast Fort Collins and would move in by March.

"We didn't plan on leaving Loveland," company vice president Ron Weinmeister said Thursday. "Loveland is great."

For years, company officials have been looking for a place to consolidate their business. Super Vac operates in 140,000 square feet spread among five buildings off East 11th Street in the Ward Industrial Park, three of which it owned and two that it leases.

Good luck to them, that sounds like quite the undertaking to move all of that.
