2012 AFG Opening Dates

Just received my copy of the quarterly Grants Programs Directorate (GPD) newsletter and the Branch Chief of AFG, Cathie Patterson, has a projected opening dates chart in there for the fire programs application periods stating:

SAFER - Jan-Feb
FP&S - Mar-April
AFG- June- July So much for getting the program back on track and that could also mean dragging the award rounds for 2011 out till June.

July beats June, I'll be at OCS from the 8th-23rd with no outside contact allowed. Lots of work getting done long before the app period as usual...

Yep and I am not cancelling my 15 day cruise/tour in Alaska either ( my wife is an excellent markman) so clients beware, we will be working on your applciations much ealrier so do not delay getting started and in touch with us.

Salina KS. No FT Lost in the Woods again unless I take some classes or something. Was hoping AFG was going to be earlier so I could maybe sneak into the accelerated 8 weeker in AL but not looking like the app period dates will play well with that thought.
