I think they're just starting from the top down, my classmate hasn't heard anything and he is placed 16th right now.

We haven't heard anything either. He's in the 36-44 range with a 90.
I wonder how many people they're going to do an oral board with. I would assume they would want to do at least 60, because you're going to have people who tested well but are no good face-to-face, and probably a handful who will drop out of the process (take another job offer etc).

We heard from them yesterday. They started calling all the references.

We also heard that they are moving on with backgrounds for the first 100.

That was from 6/8. So it sounds like hopefully they have now picked the process back up.

Finished my interview tuesday, passed it and they just told me to keep an eye on their website for a roster. I also asked them about academy start date, but they don't know the answer to that.

We were told academy should be end of Sept.

Sorry, I meant to say we had heard they would post the new roster end of August and start contacting people to move on mid to end of Sept. Obviously, they haven't posted a new roster. Has anyone called or heard anything?

The updated roster has been posted. Don't be fooled - it still says 3/16 on the top but it's the new one.
