I recently completed the hiring process for a department. I did not receive an offer, but was notified of my final ranking. Is the department required to release scoring information from the interview process? If so, what information are they required to release?

Often candidates who don't make the cut want to find out how they can improve next time out. Even if you were able to contact someone you would probably not get the information you're looking for. This might be a liability for the agency sometimes.

Often the panel members are from different departments and they don't remember all the candidates.

You don't want to waste any more opportunities. The real secret is learning how to take a firefighter interview that is like no other interview.
