Just took the IFSTA Driver/Operator Pumper state exam and failed it pretty bad. I know they use the IFSTA book I am retaking it in two weeks, any suggestions on how to pass/ prepare for it???

Not trying to be smart, but study the IFSTA book?

Do what is best for you as far as studying. I will give you this advice. When in a stressful situation you will always fall back on your training. Being a pump operator/ Driver is a vital role on any fire scene.

I agree, it is very important to know and understand how to run your pump and understand the fundamentals behind it.
The best advice I can give you is study your quizes, or the quizes at the end of each chapter. Take it seriously or you won't pass.Jason Knecht
