Thats incredible. You spend all this time to go through the process and then are lucky enough to be selected and you screw it up on the first day. Thats unreal.

It's a mixture in ages actually, ranging from 18-43. Most are in mid 20's

It appears 2013 will be a year of maintaining current services for the Fire Department. The budget is in a tough place due to the unpredictability of the LOST (Local Option Sales tax) funds the City of Savannah may or may not receive. That being said, the department is making no cuts and will still possibly be holding a recruit class in 2013. Ground has recently been broken on the Bradley Point station and the possibility of ground breaking of Chatham Parkway and Sweetwater remain high.
