I just threw my hat in the ring..Does anyone have any insight into the hiring process and how the department works? just wondering.

I don't know how the hiring process works, but bmore county is a combo system with 100% paid stations and 100% volly stations. They're both dispatched the same, though volunteer EMS units are required to be staffed before they are dispatched.
Thats really all I know off the top of my head.

Are they having multiple test dates or did i miss something?

really not sure about multiple dates. I was scheduled for 10:00 on saturday but i got there early so they let me go with the 8:00 test. without knowing how many ppl applied it's tough to know if they broke up the testing into multiple days but i would be surprised. you should have gotten an email from HR with your test date and time.

there are 2 testing dates,the 24th and the 31st. both dates there is a test at 8am,10am,12noon,2pm and 4pm. when i went for my test on the 24th at noon there was maybe 200 people,if that helps anybody.

I've heard nothing and I took my test almost a month ago. I'm positive I at least passed, but maybe they're waiting on all the writtens to be graded before they send out physical notices.

I called and spoke with someone, he said it would be around 6 weeks until we got scores.

We were informed at the test this past weekend that results will be emailed after all test have been given. Not sure when the last group will be taking their test.
