Reserve Volunteer Firefighter Recruitment

The Inter-Tribal Fire and Rescue councils of California are recruiting a large number of “Reserve Volunteer Firefighters” state-wide to serve a number of Tribal Fire Department’s. In this case, the southern California area, which may include the Counties of San Diego, Riverside, and Imperial. These positions provide for an excellent opportunity to build upon one’s career resume’.

These positions require that you be 18 years of age or older, that you are a High School graduate or have a GED, that you must have a current California Drivers License with a good Driving Record, that you are in excellent physical condition, that you have a current CPR / AED, and either a First Aid, a California EMT, or a California Paramedic Certification, and most of all you need to be a Team Player.
Possession of a College degree in Fire Technology, or the EMS field, a California State Volunteer

Firefighter or a Firefighter 1 Certification , a California Class “B” or Class “A” Drivers License are any / all highly desirable. Firefighter experience, an EMS background, or a public safety work history’s are all pluses to these jobs.
