No idea on any CPAT fumbles, but hearing murmurs around the campfire of a few treadmill test failures.

The first two in my group didn't. Unsure of the two behind me though.

Hop on a treadmill and do the test that they sent out a few times. It's not too difficult if you are in decent shape, but it's better to get a feel for it before going.

Thanks for the info. Did your medical exam take the entire 3 hours that we were told it would?

Awesome. Thanks for the heads up. I take my tests at the end of the month so it's good to have some updated info.

One guy in the group prior to mine failed the CPAT. He was huffin and puffin for air. Totally out of shape...

It would be wonderful if they labeled us all with a big number indicating our rank on the eligibility list that way we can all know the person's ranking.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Candidates are only allowed ONE attempt on the treadmill test, right?

The guy I saw fail will have a tough time getting through. He missed by like 3+ minutes. But I'm sure the treadmill test will get a few people. I'm in decent shape and that last minute was starting to test my will lol. I would advise you do it once so your not shocked like me. And I'm sorry to the two ladies that had to watch me sweat through that shirtless in some ranger panties.

For those of you counting the numbers. I talked to the psychologist on 28 of jan and he said they already eliminated 10 or 11 due to the background Check. between that and the treadmill /cpat failures I think it would be safe to say 20 down. I have the treadmill on the 18th, then I'll be waiting, saying my prayers!

Ranger panties?! I assume that is along the same lines as our silkies in the Marine Corps. Otherwise affectionately known as "catch me F**k me shorts". loved those things. ......

So would it be safe to assume that if we are this far along in the process, we have cleared backgrounds?

One and the same. Those poor girls. Also, I never heard back from the background people, which is interesting. But I have nothing on there that would prompt concern so I'm not worried. I think the people eliminated due to background were those that disappeared from the earlier appointment list. Right now, I just need about 5-10 more people in front of me to disappear so I can be comfortably in the 80s.

Has anyone here done the Psych interview followed immediately by the Medical? I'm scheduled back to back and am wondering how to dress. I'm planning suit and tie for the interview and was planning running shorts, tech tee and running shoes.
