well after looking at advice here, as well as a guy who i am now deployed with who is also a firefighter, I am going to do EMT school first, then try to get hired by a dept and go through the academy through them. Im hoping I can try to get my command to hook me up and put me through emt before im out of the navy, but not sure if there is enough time.
