Cool pic Bull. I like the fire being drawn into the fog cone.
Nameless...we were a Bristol turnouts FD exclusively for at least a decade. New Chief went with Globe and took so much grief about it not being as light and flexibe and comfortable as the Bristols that the next order was for Bristol again. Poor me is stuck with the Globe until I can wreck it. Which I will, far before anyone else does because of all the training fires I attend.
Old school pic of me, rubber boots, leather helmet, aluminum cylinder on a scott 2.2.Last edited by FyredUp; 02-17-2012 at 03:14 PM.

It seemed like a number of departments were using bristols in the 90s, early 2000s. You are right, they are the lightest, most flexible goods I've ever worn.

best action shot of the year. I Don't get to ride backward much.. But i got the opp and this is what we get.. lol
throwin' the mask on in the second pic.. Me in front and my LT in back about to tame the dragon in the first.
From the time dispatched to time fire out was 11 minutes.. GET SOME!
Made entry thru the garage (only place to make entry that was quick and to were we knew there would be no fire behind us.) It was to the point to were we had to get in quick and get some... or go defensive. So, we GOT SOME. Its not nearly as bad as it looks.. a lot of that fire is just burnin smoke... But it twas a hot one.Last edited by TillamanTrk1; 02-17-2012 at 04:03 PM.

The Dragon? Did you have a t-shirt on under your turnouts with sayings such as "I fight what you fear" and "Find 'em hot, leave 'em wet?"
Just busting your b@lls......

I can't believe they actually pay me to do this!!!
One friend noted yesterday that a fire officer only carries a flashlight, sometimes prompting grumbling from firefighters who have to lug tools and hoses.
"The old saying is you never know how heavy that flashlight can become," the friend said.

I faced the dragon the other night. So my wife and I decided to leave her mom's house. Thankfully there are no pictures.

What he said^^ I've been messing with this system, it's a pain, compared to the old one. I ended up with the photo shown above because the download thing (or upload, whatever) only showed a title, not the photo. I thought I was loading a shot of the Tower Ladder hosing a large Building Fire, instead I get one of me rappelling from the Bucket at a "Show and tell"......Never use Force! Get a Bigger Hammer.

Well, I figure enough of you know who I am that posting a picture of me at this point is no big deal. Well, other than it may terrify you or any women or children that may see it.
