Bid Spec's for Tanker/tender

Does anyone have a bid spec/contract for a tanker they would be willing to share?

Not so much for the truck itself but for all the legal and Fema requirments.

We have started working on spec's for truck and want to make sure we get everything besides the actual truck cared for. (late deliverty, insurance, ect)

There are not a lot of FEMA requirements . NFPA compliant, non brand specific, payment on delivery in full. If you want to take a chassis prepayment discount or something along those lines then you have to have a 100% performance bond,which adds to your cost.
The builder doesn't eat the cost of these , you do. Often times the cost of the bond will be more than the discount.
You must follow your departments /towns/ states purchasing guidelines in an open bidding process.

$100/day late penalty if they miss the delivery date is the only other thing, Ed got the rest. Feds defer to local bid requirements since they tend to be more stringent.

One more thing that WE require is a bid bond to have them guarantee they can produce the specced vehicle in the time frame stated and won't withdraw their bid before signing the contract.
Usually 20% of the bid price. Just keeps the vendors honest.
