Are the interviews conducted in groups? If so how many people are in each group?
No, the interviews are on an individual basis before a board of 3 firefighters of various ranks. The group you may be referring to is all the people scheduled at the same time you are. You will probably be given instructions together in a room and then sent to your interviews from there.
Thank you for the quick response i appreciate it.
Everyone ready for the interview or what?!
I had mine today! Best of luck to everyone!
Excited for the interview...little nervous though
IFD,
Sir, any word on how many showed up for the oral boards? Or how many didn't show up?
IFD,
Happen to hear if there will be a second general interview during this process?
http://www.indy.gov/eGov/City/DPS/IF...20Process.aspx
no second interview.
Thanks, but that general information page hasn't been updated in years. The exact same info was online during the last process, a process which included a second general interview.
anyone know when results for the oral interview will be E-mailed?
The HR employee at my session advised it would take at least 2 weeks.
I didn't think it was possible to be disqualified at the interview. For what reasons?
Not dressing professionally, suit/tie is worthy of a DQ. I saw a candidate in work boots, khakis, and he may have had a chew in.
Thank you IFD for answering my question. We are lucky to have your info and input. Now about people not taking the interviews seriously, I agree with you guys, that really irks me because this is such a HUGE deal for me and my family. We just have to trust that the board members saw through these people and made the right decisions. Once again, good luck to those who really want it.
