No, the interviews are on an individual basis before a board of 3 firefighters of various ranks. The group you may be referring to is all the people scheduled at the same time you are. You will probably be given instructions together in a room and then sent to your interviews from there.Quote:

Thanks, but that general information page hasn't been updated in years. The exact same info was online during the last process, a process which included a second general interview.
anyone know when results for the oral interview will be E-mailed?
The HR employee at my session advised it would take at least 2 weeks.

Not dressing professionally, suit/tie is worthy of a DQ. I saw a candidate in work boots, khakis, and he may have had a chew in.
Being excluded from participation based on appearance is highly illegal. They likely arrived late, forgot their ID, or otherwise violated the rules listed in the e-mail.Quote:

Now about people not taking the interviews seriously, I agree with you guys, that really irks me because this is such a HUGE deal for me and my family. We just have to trust that the board members saw through these people and made the right decisions. Once again, good luck to those who really want it.
