    Default New Pierce industrial pumpers

Updated pics of Port Arthur TX Fire Department 3,000GPM industrial pumpers. Acquired through Port Security Grant. I know it seems like a lot of truck for Municipality but we cover many refineries as well as a Port, Oil platforms and LNG plant. Just wanted to post and see what everyone thinks.

They look nice! One hell of a pumphouse, but I understand that's the nature of the beast...

I think I saw those when I was up at Pierce doing our pre-builds. Nice trucks. BTW, is that a slide out step in the 3rd pic?

What do you think of those mirrors? We had some similar ones installed on our Lance engine, and they vibrated so badly, we removed them and reinstalled the west coast mirrors. You seriously couldn't see jack through them due to shaking when backing up...

We were going to change the mirrors but the guys said they liked them so we keep em. Wasn't too crazy about the look but it grows on you. And yes the back wheels turn.
