I have looked all over but cant find any pay info on this department. I am currently a full time fire fighter in a near by state, but most my family lives in this area. Any info would be great.

$5411/mo is base FF pay. Your first 12 months is 70% of that. Increases 10% every year after that until you hit base.

I got very excited when I saw this. I got to work around these guys when finishing medic school. Seems like a great department. Just mailed my packet today!

i heard it's going to be a few weeks before letters are sent out. It sounds like they're throwing out quite a few applications. I'm assuming they're trying to switch from BLS to ALS so they're probably looking for paramedics.

Haven't heard anything yet either. As mentioned above, I think they said letters will be received in 2-3 weeks.
