Anyone heard anything about Lincoln Nebraska FD??

I got a call for a second interview the first week in december but I turned it down because I got a job at a different dept. but nothing since then.

They've hired quite a few over the last year. 18 in the first class I believe and not sure on how many in this latest class that they just hired. I hope they hire several more in the next year!!!

Im wondering about this test too, I'm flying in from Los Angeles on Saturday to take it.

Well the test has come and gone. I know they said that it should be 2 weeks to hear any results from the written test. Has anyone received anything yet?

i didnt take the test but my bro did he has been waiting to he called HR on fri and they said there still processing so dont sweat... and good luck!

Awesome. Thanks alot for the update. I know they said 2 weeks for the results and its coming up on 3 and nearing the dates for the agility test. I'm a medic so I'm feeling pretty comfortable with moving on past the written test. I didn't think it was too bad. Curious how many they will hire. Good luck to your brother too!!

Agility test is only a week away and in the same boat - no word yet. And like you - I am assumming I will advance since I am a medic and I am pretty sure I didn't totally bomb the test. Let me know if you hear anything and I will do the same. Thanks guys - and good luck!

Hey guys, Just got an email yesterday saying that i made it to the agility test. I was curious if anyone has taken this agility test before? Seems like an awful short amount of time to do all of the tasks. Ive taken CPAT many times just curious how this compares to that test. Thanks and good luck to all.

Got mine in the mail today for both firefighter app. and fire medic app.. Wonder why you got yours via email and I got mine via snail mail? Congrats buddy! I took Lincolns agility a few years ago - but they have changed it up now. I agree - 6 min 22 sec will go by really fast, but most of the stuff seems pretty easy - and no 50 lb vest!!!! Good luck guys - you will do great!!!!

FINALLY got my letter from Lincoln today. I passed and am scheduled for the agility test. Still haven't heard any plans on how many they want to hire or when they plan on doing it.
