The additional funds for the OPS grants can come from 2 sources.
1) Funds from grants that have been declined by departments or those departments that have let the 30 day requirement pass.
and/or
2) Funds from the vehicle side (this has been done in the past).

Still haven't gotten a DJ letter either. How are the AFG awards given out, highest scoring app to lowest? Or, strictly random order? I wonder how many of us are still waiting with fingers crossed, now apparently waiting for funds that haven't been accepted or for vehicle funds that haven't been awarded for one reason or another. Well, the wait should be a short one now either way!!!

I spoke with our regional rep on Friday. He said all the money has been allocated and if you have not yet received an award notification you will be receiving a DJ very soon. Rats!

We have a 2011 award number that showed up about 2 weeks ago under a prior 1199a. Our application had been adjusted by FEMA at the end of March, so I'm hoping we're included in this years program. But we haven't had any other correspondance from them.

Might as well consider it to be. There are less than 100 awards pending for announcement using the original funding allocation. Several declined and/or rescinded grants this year will allow for some supplemental funding in future weeks, but nothing to count on. Time to prep for 2012 in June.

We received a call from our Senator's Office's today, so there was some hope after all. It was for equipment. I wish everyone well...

Does anyone have the total number of 2011 AFG applications and total number of awards given out in last years cycle.
Nothing official from AFG that I see on their web site.
Thanks......
