Hello
I'm wondering what it takes to get into a career in Fire and/or Rescue.
I'm currently in Entry level classes (Halfway through tonight actually) and I'm also only 19.
Around here we only have Volunteer departments, but it's always been my dream to actually make a career out of being a firefighter.
So I was just curious, what does it take? What do most departments require?

What state are you in??
Find a few near by paid depts and they can tell you what your state or cities in your state require to apply
Also you can check different city web sites to see what they are requiring
