OK, so my dad got an award for 20 years of service and its one of the really nice award axes. Now I'm trying to surprise him by finally cleaning up his firefighting corner and I am stuck at how to display the axe. I was thinking of using the same mounts you would find on a fire truck, but my mom suggested getting the wood plaque for it. Now the problem with the plaque is I cant seem to find just the plaque, all I can find is the plaque with axe already mounted or just the axe but not just a plaque..... so with that I'm kinda lost on what to do....anyone have any kind of suggestion, or pictures of how they've done it or seen it done. Thanks

Go to a trophy business. Really all you need is a nicely finished board with some hangers.
