would check brand name universities/ colleges to see if they will accpet hours from this college

I am currently taking classes through Delta College on my way to an associate's in Fire Science. I originally took classes on campus, but when I moved to take a job, I had to continue online. Delta offers all of the classes necessary to get an associate's degree through their online program, which is nice, but the offerings are limited. There are usually only a couple of classes per semester, and if you miss a class, it may be a while before it is offered again. Another disadvantage to the online program is that many of the instructors are retired fire service guys, and are new to teaching via internet. most of the classes I have taken have worked out well, but a couple did not go so smoothly. All in all, I feel that I am getting a good education from good, experienced instructors, at an affordable price.
