I am curious how they are ranking as well, It was my understand that the first part of the video base test was also a personality test. Anyone know how many are moving on and if the written and agility are both pass/fail is your ranking based on the interview?

In the job announcement it says the written is 60% and the interview is 40%. Physical is pass or fail and ten people scheduled every fifteen minutes for five days, that's alot moving on.

The stair climb was by far the hardest event. But most people seemed to complete it within the time needed to pass.

In the 75 seconds did you go up seven flights of stairs then back down with the extra weight?

No offense, but I waited in line for 5 hours yesterday to answer that question. I will say that if you are in decent shape you shouldn't have any problems. I finished in 49 seconds.

I don't think it's based on our scores, but I can't say for sure. It seems to be kinda random. I was notified that I passed on August 15, but I didn't receive my PAT date and time until today (Aug 21). Some folks received their PAT appointment in the same email that told them they passed. Weird stuff. I'm just glad I'm moving on!

Don't try and figure out what or how they are doing the process. No one knows and speculating is a waste of time. Your final score can change significantly with your oral board, so everyone should be focusing on passing the physical agility and then performing to the best of their ability for the oral board. They could be scheduling by last name, social security number, birthdate, alignment of the stars, application number, or your score. There is really no way of knowing. Take each step as your priority and do your best, Cincinnati needs more ambulance riders

Are you participating in the mentor program for the new classes Carny? I've got no problem riding the ambulance for years straight if I get this opportunity.

I applied to be a part of it, I have not heard yet if I will be used or not.

If you still need the PHQ . . . .

    1. Go to the city's website.

    2. Jobs with the city.

    3. Jobs open to the public.

    4. Click on fire recruit
