Is your interview next week?
Well, from reading through some of the past posts, I see that Dirty Axe scored a 75% on the written. So obviously the written does not hold a lot of weight on who moves on to the Chief's interview. Congrats to those moving on.

My understanding from when we met with HR at CPAT was that CCFD would call when they want us. You may get a call for the first academy, you may get a call in 1.5 years. She said to keep your certs updated and your contact information updated, and stay out of trouble.
I got a call yesterday to schedule my interview. HR said that interviews were during Christmas week. They are actually having interviews on Christmas Eve. She was very nice and let me pick the time and day for my interview. Good luck to everyone!

Just out of curiosity, are they going alphabetical by last name?
Thats a great question. My last name starts with A and a friend of mine knows someone who got a call with a last name starting with A as well so it could be.

I haven't gotten a call yet; given to go for a Chief interview or a no for no longer being in the process.
I haven't heard of anyone getting the no calls though.

Well I think it's safe to say the first round of calls is done for the next academy. Congrats to all who got a call to move on in the process. My only thought for more calls is if a bunch of people don't interview well this time around or fail one of the other parts (psyc test, physical, background check). I wonder how many got calls??
Not sure - sure doesn't seem like many. I'll try and get some information when I go for mine, though I'm certainly not the first to interview so perhaps someone else will update before then.Quote:
