They have an academy from the last test starting on July 23rd so I would assume that the time frame would be close to the same as last time. Yes it half medics and half EMT's so roughly 30 or so of each.

Well, I checked the book(s), and it looks like I've missed (at least) seven questions.....don't know what the cutoff will be....hopefully I got the other 93 correct. Good luck!

I really wish more time was given for the test. 2 hours was not enough.

Actually, it was 15:30, or 4.5 hrs.....the exact question was in one of the recommended study books. And, I noticed a number of other exact questions were n the book(s) as well, only I didn't study those parts, hence a few wrong answers. Hoping for at least a 90 at this point. I was really surprised at the number of folks who were seated when :05 was called. Good Luck to all of you.

I mainly had the same issues as you guys/gals. Honestly, I don't think I did well enough to move on. This test was very time consuming, unlike LVF&R's test you knew what to expect. The tire radius question also got me. I did the math problems last as I knew it would take me the longest, not a math whiz. Good luck to you all.

Yeah, the tire one was mathematically time consuming, but I'm pretty sure it was 42 inches. I have three of the recommended books, and have found about 25% of the questions taken from two of the three books. In fact, a few questions were even on the last written test CC had. I primarily studied the math as I haven't had a math class in years, but remember the formulas once I re-read them. However, most of the questions I found in the books were of the reading type. I agree with nnfra200302 about the LV test,...studying only ONE book (religiously) is waaaay better/easier than 3+ books with 500+ questions in each. I can't totally remember, but I think I scored high 80's/low 90's the last time I tested with CC, and made it to the interview.
Anyone care to make a guess about the cutoff for this test considering the number to be hired coupled with the number of those tested? I'm thinking (hoping, actually) at least 85. Also, does anyone know if they will accept a valid CPAT card, or will we have to CPAT regardless?

I put "C" for the tire radius question. I can't remember, but was that 42 inches?

For those of you who moved on to the CPAT last time, did it mention in your notice that you made the cutoff and that your moving on to the CPAT or did they send a second notice informing you that you made the cutoff and that your moving on.
