Okay let's recap this train wreck...
junior22 comes on and asks which pager he should take as a 14 year old junior firefighter.
First he says he won't be responding.
Then he says at 15 he says he can respond.
Then he asks about contacts and scba.
Yeah, whatever...

You cannot respond to the station with a bicycle. You can respond at 14 with caution though. It all complys with the child labor laws,that's why we get pagers.
What does this mean? You can run, but not ride your bicycle? So you dont hit any curbs and fly over your handlebars or something?Quote:

Nope it doesn't have to begin at all. Frankly, I couldn't care less what LA or anyone else uses for staffing. Kids under the age of 5, elderly people with walkers, developmentally disabled chimpanzees, who cares?
The only time staffing of another fire department matters to me is when I call them for mutual aid. Then they have to meet MABAS if it goes to a box alarm and then must be an adult, and certified to at least FF1. It is pointless to point out liability and legality to people who simple don't give a damn.
So I shall not engage in another battle over this. But I may watch if you decide to!!:D
