Nonaffiliated emergency medical service (EMS) providers
What items are eligible for grant funding?
Operations and Safety Projects: Training, equipment, personal protective equipment, modifications to facilities, wellness and safety projects
Vehicle Acquisition Projects: Firefighting and EMS vehicles
Regional Projects (benefiting multiple departments): Training, equipment, personal protective equipment

Match your needs with the AFG Program's highest priorities for funding; call the AFG Help Desk with any questions (1-866-274-0960).
Click on E-Grant Application Access from the AFG Website and start the online application. Save your draft application so that you can return to work on and edit your application as often as needed.
Read each question carefully and provide as much detailed information as possible, particularly for all questions that call for narrative answers.
Print out and review your application; double-check that your answers are accurate. Add details in all narrative sections.
Submit the application before the July 6 deadline.
