Would like all the advice you can give!
I am currently a national guard soldier and have been for six years. I am part of Illinois 5th Cerf-p and am a subject matter expert on my side of things. I have taken several courses (some even twice) such as confined space, structural collapse, rope rescue ops and tech, hazmat, nims courses etc. I have always thought of being a firefighter just never pursued it. But now im going to. I also currently work full time for Cerf-p right now. So if you have any advice to help me along the way please. Things that I definetly would like comment on is what are the best areas to test (yes I am willing to relocate, would prefer to actually). Also along with emt what are some college courses that would make me more valuable. Thank you and I appreciate any imput that I recieve. I also have worked hand in hand with mabas and alot of their guys for alot of training so I feel like I have pretty good refrences that know of my knowledge and skill set.
