I got one also. Would love to work for Longmont! It's close to home and a pretty decent dept. from what I've heard. Interviewed a few years ago and can't say anything bad.. the oral integrity was pretty intense!

It was like a poly and psyc mashed together. No poly machine though. I didn't think it was to terrible, going through my first poly ever last week, I'd say that is much worse on the nerves.

@fireangel- how far did you get in the process in 2010? I got on the list, but they only hired one. Pretty disappointing, but it's nice to see them possibly picking up four this year.

It was my first experience with an oral integrity interview and I got in trouble for not listing every job I've ever had. This lead them to believe I was hiding something, when in fact I just didn't think that they wanted twenty years worth of job info. It def. did not make for a great experience for me but lesson learned. I believe this and not being prepared as well as I should have for all the people in the oral interview cost me and I did not get past this stage. As long as you are honest and don't leave anything out you will be fine. I just got done with and passed a written and oral integrity and polygraph with Denver. Didn't leave ANYTHING out this time no matter how petty it might seem to me. Good luck to all!!!

How does the agility test they put on compare to the Cpat? What are the stations? Thanks!

fireangel - Congrats on Denver to this point!

The agility test wasn't bad (but seriously, none of them should be since it is considered the lowest level of fitness you should be at).

The stations as I remember them were:
Grab a 24 off a wall (I think it was around 5' off the ground, positioned horizontally)...walk it back 10' or so, then walk it forward and hang it back up.
Ladder extension and return
Charged hose run
A slalom type cone course with a saw and cutter/spreader
Hose tower run with high rise pack
Sledge hammer sled
Dummy drag
Ran in a helmet, turnout coat, and SCBA w/ air cylinder.

I think I did right around 4ish minutes and that was taking my sweet time (the guys from Longmont stressed do not get DQd, take your time it's pass fail).

Like I said, it wasn't bad and if you are in decent shape (as we all should be) it should not be a concern.
