    Default Father's Day Fire that claimed members lifes.

    Several fires have occurred on Father's day and have resulting in the deaths of Firefighters.

    As you celebrate Father's Day, pause and remember those members who were killed while operating at fires on that day!

    RIP Guys, we have now.




    FDNY members die in the line of duty on Father's Day.

    John Downing, 40, Brian Fahey, 46 and Harry Ford, 50, died on June 17, 2001 - Father's Day - fighting a blaze ignited when two teens spraying graffiti behind a mom-and-pop hardware store knocked over a gas can.

    The blast sent the firefighters flying into the air and reduced the Long Island General Supply Co. in Astoria to rubble.



    MEMPHIS, TN – Father's Day Fire June 15th, 2003. Lt. Trent Kirk and Private Charles Zachary lost their lives in the Family Dollar Store fire.

    Boston Fire Department Photo's & Video's

    BOSTON, MA –June 17th-Hotel Vendome Fire that killed 9 of Boston's Bravest in 1972. They were FF Thomas W. Beckwith, FF Joseph E. Boucher, Lt. Thomas J. Carroll, FF Charles E. Dolan, Lt. John E. Hanbury, Jr., FF John E. Jameson, FF Richard B. Magee, FF Paul J. Murphy, and FF Joseph P. Saniuk. Another 8 men were critically injured in the collapse.
