I do not have a narrative for a Lifepack 15, but may I make one suggestion? When applying for the unit, do not mention Lifepack 15 or Physio Control in the grant application. Every grant training I have ever been to suggests that you keep company names and specific model names out of the application.

Yes, apply for a cardiac monitor, include the specifics of what a Lifepack 15 offers in the description, price your grant for that of a Lifepack 15, but do not say "Lifepack 15." I believe the main reason for this is that no one can say that Federal funds were unfairly funneled to one specific company, thereby eliminating any competitive bidding by another company. And you are also taking the chance of having a Peer Reviewer, who may have favoritism towards say the the Zoll corporation, deny your application because they dislike Physio Control, for whatever reason. While the latter example is far fetched and somewhat unethical, they are human and can be swayed by something as small as the mention of a company they dislike.

Some others here may disagree with me, but I have found that generic descriptions have the better chance of passing Peer, rather than those who try to be too specific by naming models and companies.
