RIT pack question

Hello,

I am working on our application for this years grant, and I am going for the same category we tried for last year, SCBA. We are also requesting RIT packs. The part I am having trouble with is last year it went under the category of other PPE. I can't find "other" listed under any of the PPE categories. What would be appropriate? My choices seem to be airline units, respirators, 30 45 or 60 minute SCBA. Any help would be appreciated.

RIT packs are under the Equipment category; Basic Equipment.

Are there any other NFPA Standards that would be better to quote than NFPA 1407, Standard for Training Fire Service Rapid Intervention Crews, 2010 Edition, while applying for Air Packs, Extra Face Mask and 2 RIT Packs

NFPA 1500 will provide the bulk of the info you need for justification from SCBA to RIT.

Or if you don't feel like writing a whole narrative on the RIT SCBA that really goes with the SCBA under PPE, could use 60min SCBA in the dropdown and put RIT SCBA in the description. Used other for that last year too, but RIT Pack in the other section is supposed to be more for Equipment. Last time I checked anything breathing air related is a piece of PPE, hence the use of 60min in the drop down. Mentioned several times up the chain that RIT SCBA should be part of SCBA since once without the other makes no sense...details...
