Hi I am a 8 yr career firefighter for a small dept in Alabama. I'm 30 yrs old and eat healthy, exercise regular, and a nonsmoker unfortunately 3 weeks ago i sustained a massive heart attack (100% in the RCA) still not sure if the will let me return to work. I am having trouble understanding and getting info on the Alabama heart and lung act or the Presumptivedisability law. I'm not sure what it does or the benefits but i was encouraged to find out if I am eligible. Any help would be greatly appreciated .
