Speaking of warmer weather, anyone going to FH World in San Diego? Flying in Tuesday afternoon and going to wander around the exhibit hall Wednesday and Thursday. Maybe take in the comedy show with Adam Ferrara.

Should be, decent set of lists. Mostly R&R on the SAFER side too, so should see more movement along those lines in the next couple of weeks. AFG is decently sized on quantity, not a huge dollar amount. Haven't seen/heard much on major regionals yet.

Looks like 88 departments received awards this go round.....still waiting in the wings.

Congrats to all this weeks awardees and pass the rabbit's foot over!

Bartender give me a double and keep them coming till I fall off the stool! The suspense is killing me. Yet another week with no vehicles.

I wonder if the AFG is going to dump a plethera of vehicle grants at one time? I'm still waiting like everyone else and like everyone else is in dire need of a replacement. I keep checking my messages to see the dreaded DJ, but still in high hopes for an award!! Congrats to those who were granted awards today!

    Cool Make mine a tripple

No movement on my water supply grant.

In the past years didn't they normally do vehicles early?

What I've been told, we may see some major awards in the near future, possible in the 200-300 range. They are going to try and play catch up now that they have their people back and that the paper apps have been reviewed. The other thing that is slowing them down is the SAM requirement. If you haven't done so by now, make sure that you are registered and your SAM account is up to date. This means all of your point of contacts and your financial information too.

Hey Brian (bc79er) you are not the only one to jinx McNeill when you show. Been there this weekend teaching and they had their backsides hande too them last night. Had a close call on one them. Too bad I had just left and missed all the fun.

Did you get to run to the rodeo school like I did when I was up there? Everyone should go visit Mike, increases in call volume help the next year's set of grants.

Looks like we have finally got the SAM mess straightened out. Got our questions email last week and the AFG person who has been great to work with said all is good in the SAM world. Another couple of weeks and hopefully I can buy a round on my way out.

All this is making me hungry. Anyone else want a bowl of my infamous Jack Daniel's Chili? Put 1/3rd of a fifth in with just the meat for 2 hours, not a drop of liquid left in it, all soaked into the meat.

Now if I hadn't put the rest of the fifth into the chef....

Has the wait between 1199 and ten questions been longer this year? Got the 1199 and hoping for the congressional call tomorrow. Also, at what point is any reduction notice handed out? Was thrilled to get the 1199 and even thrilled even more to not get a reduction requirement. Hoping those two go hand in hand. We need every penny this year.

There are no 10 questions, some have been getting the 5 questions when the SAM registration isn't there. Otherwise been anywhere from 10 days to 12 weeks between 1199A and award. Most still in the 2-5 week range. Reductions happen shortly after the 1199A if they aren't done beforehand, there are 2 separate teams handling each task, just depends on who gets to your app first, the 1199A folks or the reduction ones.
