Neat video, very artistic and captured I think what the artist was trying to get, the soul of a fire house.

Did feel like I was watching a Pink Floyd video, never knew what was going on, but I liked it.

It seems there is a larger number of females (at least in this video) in comparision to firefighting in the United States. Is that common to emergency services in England or just Staffordshire?

Did they tear down the entire station, including the offices, admin area, or just the bays?
Train to fight the fires you fight.

According to the attached link, they demolished the fire station in the video to build a new on the same spot.

Why in the world would they demolish such a nice station??? Seems like a monumental waste of money. If I were a taxpayer there, that film would **** me off more than anything else.

The Wholetime (staffed) fire stations look like they are all community centers also, with
•Meeting room which can comfortably accommodate up to 30 people and has a ceiling mounted data projector with speakers and a plug in facility for your own laptop.
•Guest access to wireless internet can be pre-arranged.
•Refreshment making facilities in a separate kitchen area including water boiler, cups & saucers etc.
•Male, female and accessible toilets with separate baby changing/prayer room.
•Large break-out seating area with easy chairs and cafe style tables.
•Board room style meeting room to accommodate 8 people.
    •Small interview room.
•Small well-equipped gym available for use by partners for guided activity by their own qualified instructor.
So, while we may have a single room that groups can use it looks like the station is designed to be a community center with lots of involvement

    That is an odd combination.
