Default Massachusetts civil service interview question

So I recently had my Interview with a civil service department in North East Massachusetts on June 19,2012. One week after the interview I was called back for the background investigation, finger prints and a residence check, which all seemed to have checked out just fine. Since then I have not heard one word from anyone about if or if not I got the job. I was wondering if this long wait is normal and if I should of heard anything by now if I didn't get the job? I'm very excited and anxious and would appreciate any input. Thanks

    Sounds positive

    Are they hiring for sure??

If so do you know how many positions??

Is this the last step or are there more interviews, psych, medical???

Remember there are a few other people in the process so it does take time to process everything

Unless you are a Disabled Vet or Vet forget about being hired. Boston hires at most 50 guys twice

a year. And as I said unless your a Vet forget about it.

There was no vets on this list and none were interviewed. That's not true for all town, but i know it helps.
