They told us during our test that it would be sometime during the second week of September, when the list would be verified and then people would start to find out what bank they will be placed in.

What is the order of the hiring process?
I got my email today as well. I wasn't expecting it until the middle of next month. I wish it said what we scored, but I do know I passed and I can't wait to move on to the next Level! Good Luck to everyone that is continuing on!

Yeah, I'm trying to remember from last time, but I think this email just means that we meet the minimum scoring requirements for their FireTeam test (70% for each segment usually). Don't think it's anything really to get excited about though.
The banding should come in sept when they said we would have our results. Plus they are taking language and vet pts now so they will need to test and apply those before banding.
Good luck to everyone though.
Anyone know what step comes next? Maybe Combat Test? I don't remember seeing that info when I was on their site.

Combat test?
Are they going to throw you guys in the thunder dome and see who makes it out alive? Or maybe they'll just drop you off on Colfax for the night and see who survives.
Nothing you should worry about if it's your native language. Usually they just want to see how well you can communicate in that language. From what i know they shouldn't grade you by the way you answer...just the communication part. I did one for Denver, it was like an interview. Aurora doing theirs over a phone, approx 20 mins... Good luck
Ha, well, at least that will give you some way to stave off the hookers and winos. Ahhh, Aurora.
YJ - you read it right. No oral boards for Aurora. The link to the hiring process is correct.
That is a really interesting process they have. I imagine it will make the process harder if you don't have a less than perfect background check.
Thanks Tacoma. I forgot that you said they use the FireTeam and Backgrounds in place of the 'view. PMed you.
Of course all is for not if we can't score high enough on the fireteam test.
BTW, at the written test I tried to get a solid answer about how they handle laterals with entry level guys, but the guy wouldn't commit to an answer. I would imagine they would prefer laterals first though.
They can take no more than 50% laterals for an academy. The past few academies have had half laterals and half entry level. (Hope that was what you were confused about).
