About LinkBacksHowdy. I was wondering if anyone here has a second job besides Firefighting. If so, is it difficult to juggle being a firefighter and having a second job?

Depends on your schedule at the FD. We work 24/48's where I work. I have an IT company in addition to working at the FD and also work part time dispatching Aeromedical Helicopters.
So it can be easy, if the schedule is not a funky one, and your pt job bosses are flexible with your schedule.Brian Irey
