    Default Questions about OCFA Process After Oral Interview

    Hey guys,
    OCFA established an eligibility list in October of last year, and they're just starting to move forward in the hiring process. There are 300 of us, and they asked us to resubmit our resumes and a background questionnaire which was due a week ago. I was wondering if anyone knew the how the process carries on from here on out. Does OCFA conduct a polygraph test? Are there any more interviews to come? Anything you could help with would be awesome!

    You should check out www.californiafirefighter.com There is a forum for registered users titled Career Prep and I believe there is a thread already for OCFAs last test process.

    I'm pretty sure in the email they sent us they stated they would be reviewing our packets and selecting candidates to send to backgrounds...

    With the background investigation orientation on the 5th of September they have got to be making phone calls/ sending emails soon. Has anyone heard yet? The suspense is killing me.

    I haven't heard anything yet, but with the way this process has gone I wouldn't be surprised if that orientation date gets pushed back.
