Fire certificate?? Help

Hey fellas, i was wondering if there is anyway to transfer my FF 1 and FF 2 certificates from michigan to make them valid in other states as well. I got them at a community college. Thanks.

Unfortunately the Michigan Firefighter Training Council certificates that Michigan uses specifically do not transfer as readily as an IFSAC or Pro Board cert... Very few states will accept them and when they do it is on a case by case basis most of the time... can I ask, did you go to Schoolcraft???

Thank you. And no macomb. But i a cple guys at my gym went there. And they went out of state. One to fl. And one to either nc or sc. I dnt remember for employment

I have heard that Florida is one of the few and will accept MI certs, Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky i've heard as well...

If they are not Accepted. Do u have to go through the academy all over again. Or just take the test?
