Has anybody heard if all the candidates that they are taking to the Oral have been notified? I want to call, but the last we were told is not to call them that they would call us.

We were told at the oral board anyone who made it that far would know their status by the 1st/2nd week of jan if I recall correctly.

God knows I'm not in the Raleigh FD inner circle but there doesnt seem to be a running list here and they also seem to have given out conditional offers. I'm just speculating but it seems like it's a wrap. Maybe they have a list of alternates in case guys fail the phys/drug test or psych but these are likely ppl they already interviewed.

It's official, I got my "we regret to inform you" letter yesterday while at work. For those continuing on and going to work the Job for RFD good fortune and stay safe.

RFD, thanks for the opportunity to test for you. I still think the RFD is a great group of men and women.

I'm getting ready to head down there again for 2 days straight (med/psyh/gear fitting)

Today at orientation it was said depending on retirements there maybe 3/4 spots left open for this academy. Currently there are 27 in this academy with a start date of 1/31. If chosen they would go through an accelerated process to be ready on the 31st.

Hopefully this will give some light to those who haven't heard anything.
