Inspection frequency

I am just wondering how often other jurisdictions require inspection on storage occupancies. Does anyone work in an area where they have a large industrial park with warehouses? Thanks

Warehouses can present a big problem when the storage configurations change such as pallet storage to rack storage or what they store changes such as metal can to plastic cans. These changes may result in the automatic sprinkler system not controlling or extinguishing a fire. Taking pictures of what they are storing and how they are storing product and keeping track of changes are very helpful.

My take is from an insurance point of view, about 50% of the warehouses we inspect the fire sprinkler systems are not adequate to control a fire. So should they be inspected ...YES.

we just do once a year, now if you have a trouble child, you might just drop in a little more often.

Well we are a federal instalation so we are debating between monthly and quarterly. The current direction is looking like monthly but not decided yet. I was just wondering what others are doing.
