These guys at work are getting nothing done - too busy wanting to play with the wall. And I won't let them!

Congrats to everyone who got a 1199. We got one too for SAFER R&R, but still waiting on Hiring and AFG. Hopefully AFG is next.

BTW my R&R was for $195,000. Supplemental Health Ins., Physicals, Incentive Program, Bunk Room, Mailing and Advertisment. Now if I could get the AFG, it would be perfect. This, and the PA Grant is coming out this week. A great week for us.

If I had known you were headed to Ft Riley for it I would have had you stop and have lunch with one of my other Fie Chiefs up there in Grandview Plaza.

Anyone seen or heard when they might start releasing funding for vehicles?

We only know of one through postings here, but there are obviously lots of departments that aren't posting here. So there are more out there. I have about 20 that I haven't been able to check myself because logins expired or changed, but have too much else on the plate to worry about emailing the departments to find out if things are pending or not. Me knowing isn't changing the outcome, so don't have the time to check with the other grants to write and mental preparation for an in-law filled (dysfunctional) holiday...

Small list again this week. I don't think they will make their Feb objective.

That was the objective before paper apps and the larger than expected Peer Review quantity plus Sandy taking bodies away to call center duty. Probably only slip a month, paper apps were done last week and are being integrated so should see some solid forward progress after the 1st. Minor movement until then I would guess, more of what we've been seeing until everyone gets back from vacation most likely.

Uh hate to spoil everyone's TGIF but guess you should start clicking again. Just found a $581K radio grant 1199a update that was not there yesterday.

For Dolton it was only a small grant for $43,000 for 5" hoses, facepiece with amplifier and training.

Any action today? Any awards? No new Awards on FEMA site. How about 1199's? No Granta Claus for Christmas for us. I'd be happy if he came for Valrntines Day.
