Found one hose project for PA.:)
Found a nice county FD SCBA 1199A, packs, masks, and RIT SCBA for $250k. Finally some higher priority ones. Maybe tomorrow I'll have time to do the whole list, running out of hours in the day. Hopefully can hire some good additional office help next month, last time around invited 24 to interview, 3 showed, hired person didn't show 3 of the 6 days scheduled. Wouldn't think it would be so hard to find good help in this economy....
Just found an new 1199A for a local department for a Gear Washer, Gear Dryer, and a Thermal Imager.
Picked up a couple more this morning that were not there yesterday.Vehicle exhaust system was a pleasant surprise:D
2 more SCBA, a PPE, and pleasantly surprised like Kurt about an exhaust that also showed up today. Definitely a nice start to the week.
One more today :)
Just found a 2012 reference for SCBA and TIC however the SCBA has been zeroed out and the grant reduced to $9000. Would it be possible to contact them and plead the case to get the full grant reinstated?
Most likely the SCBA didn't make peer and therefor won't be eligible to get reinstated. What was the age of the SCBA and have you received an SCBA previously?
We requested 14 which would bring us to 100% compliance for year 2002 or newer for all riding positions. We have a total of 26. We have 10 that were bought between 2002 and 2006 including 4 on a grant in 2003 before I took over the grants for our department and 6 that were bought along with our aerial. I stated in the narrative that these 10 would remain in service. The remaining packs are a mix of a couple low hose from the 80's and the rest were bought 1994-2000.
Your narrative justification is a moot point as it was not reviewed if your SCBA was cut. I'd suspect that with > 50% of your SCBA being less than 2 NFPA cycles old, your score was quite low.
While not your "fault," back in 2003 there should have been a 100% solution for the project, not just 6.
The nice thing about the way the new scoring works, you previously would have not gotten your TIC, but now only the non-priority items are cut. :)
Get clicking found three more this morning, SCBAs, STO and Hose.:D
Site is back up. Found a 1st timer that has the email, so must have posted after I left the office last night. More SCBA, definitely going to avoid the web site code and check the whole list now.... :D
Found one with no e-mail posted, first timer for SCBA. Also noticed a reduction on a separate app which was not there two days ago, hope that 1199A drops later today. :D
No love for my station yet!
Finally! Noticed the 1199 but no email. Not popping the cork but definitely shopping for champagne. Regional com grant benefiting three departments. Ya-hoo!
Continuously rolling out...another SCBA 1199A not there at noon found.
1 more for today...FR communications.
Got a 1199 update at 3:18 am this morning for a water supply grant. It's only a $6K project but made it through this time. 2 years ago I didn't make it through the computer scoring - 4 time I have applied for this with minor tweeks:D.
Ok - I checked my info then submitted. The instructions say to then click on the print 1199 button - I don't have any button to click? I remember that the bank has to fill in stuff on the bottom, but I don't have an option to print. Anyone else have this issue?
Can you right click on it and get a print option?
