Had the same thing happen, but if you wait about 30-40 seconds the screen will populate and everything works properly.

Ready to see some movement, at this point I dont care if I get a DJ I just want to know if I got anything. Although it sure would be nice to announce it at the Parish wide christmas party. The suspense is killing me.

Yea ain't that the truth but, understandable certainly. One thing nice about being a week out from election, the current administration is doing a full court press and pulling out all the stops with FEMA to respond properly.

Yep it appears that they let loose a batch of SAFER 1199a updates ; found a couple myself today. I know one dept in particular in Michigan that is going to have a very pleasant surprise when he checks his cell phone messages in the AM, and its a whopper if it actually goes through to award.

Hello Firehousers. Waterford Regional Fire Department in Michigan doing the extra happy dance this morning. 1199 update on our 2012 SAFER grant. Now we shall anxiously wait for an actual award email!

I am thankful to God for the opportunities He has given me.

A big THANK YOU to Kurt Bradley @ First Responder Grants. I am so grateful for the mentoring you have provided. I have listened and followed your ways, and now successful again. You inspire me to have that winning attitude.

Thank you to those firefighters that read our application and understood our needs and approved it.

Congrats all, just got a phone call out of NC for a hiring for one of ours. Gives me something to follow up on after my son's swim class. Glad to see movement with the storm response and everything else they're being put on. In case anyone tries to get a hold of someone a lot of the field folks are being put on call center duty for Sandy response so they're working at reduced staffing, as if they weren't already working short-staffed in the first place. So take it easy on them if you can't make contact with someone right away, they're really epitomizing the overworked/underpaid thing now.

I can attest to FEMA working up here. I am seeing their vehicles in many places here. Now on top of all this this department is hosting me in here in NJ and "the Iceman" did not fail to live up to his reputation of bringing the snow and ice wherever I go and right on top of what they are trying to clean up from. Near blizzard conditions as I gaze out my hotel window.

Should have know it was your fault Kurt.
Your 500 miles south of me & we're getting snow from that direction.

The roll over of the federal budget has been completed. We should start seeing 1199A's shortly.

Sorry to disappoint you there guy but, I went through all my clients online apps and not a single update to be found there yet. Maybe later today as Wednesday is typically when I see movement. Time will tell.

OK, I've been handling other stuff all day, which one of you have been slacking and not checking? First one I checked has an Update 1199A in it and the email was sent yesterday according to the email in the app Mail Center. Congrats to a regional SCBA coming in VA, guess I won't be able to resist the temptation to do a lot more checking this afternoon....

Yep and they were not there on Thursday morning as I checked everyone of mine. Found an EMS 1199a for one of our clients already.

Nothing yet....Still very hopeful! The '68 Snorkel we are trying to replace just blew it's hydraulics. Wish there was a way to convey this to FEMA. Extreme need went to dire need! Don't really care how many rounds down we are, as long as we don't receive a DJ!

Found nothing on my end. The 1199A's will be slow coming initially. The AFG still has to PR the remainder of the computer and paper applications. They won't be able to get too far ahead as any of these that score high will have to be plugged into the mix.

    Default Update Found

Just found an update 1199a for Hose and adapters $51,000 for a small rural department. Just got home from second honeymoon cruise. What a great ending to a great week!
