Default Single time use of "designer drug?"

2 years ago I used a supplement that was marketed for weight/fat loss, which I recently discovered is classified as a "designer drug." I had very adverse effects to the supplement and ended up going to the ER for it which will show up on my medical record. I'm wondering if this will automatically DQ me from the hiring process?

    Thanks for anyones input.

If you bought it legally from a legitimate retailer, it's a legal supplement and there's nothing to hold against you.

Yes, it can be purchased at GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, Bodybuilding.com, etc...I was just worried as on one of Chief Lepore's older posts one of the questions on the polygraph is indeed "have you ever taken a designer drug before?"

Ive worked in the drug industry. Trust me, if you can buy it on store shelves in a brick and mortar, it isnt a designer drug. At oeast, not the kind they are asking about. Even before the ASCA 2005 things such as M1T, 4AD, SuperDrol (in its original form) were all just supplements in pro-hormone form. Still not illegal or as yet classified as a drug under scheduled controls.

    Agree if legal good

Now if it was legal then turned banned, like "K2". That might be a different story

    Or something like Bath Salt

For the record, I agree with the advice given above. If you purchased it over the counter you should be just fine. If you ever go through a polygraph, I would explain it to the examiner as you will most likely get a "hit" on the question.

This is why polygraphs are absolutely rediculous.
