Questions about Viriginia's Tide Water Regional Fire Academy

Hey all,
For anyone who went through the Tide Water Regional Fire Academy in Virigina, Do you know how many hours is each class of the Firefighter 1 and Firefighter 2 certifications? And are they Pro Board certifications? Any help would be great! Thanks.

I'm not a TRFA graduate, but I am an instructor for the Virginia Department of Fire Programs. The Firefighter I & II programs (combined, and including the required HazMat Ops class) are approximately 220 hours (depending on the text & curriculum used). The classes are tested by the VDFP, therefore, they're also ProBoard certified.

If you're not familiar with it, an actual TRFA class is about 7 months long.

I did grad. from TRFA @ the Newport News FD. You get VDFP Fire 1 and 2 and a list of more certs when done with all , the fire portion of TRFA is only 4 months long. it would only be 7 months if you go threw there emt -I course also. hope that helps. I was in TRFA 133.
