I'm going to have an end of the world party (you're all invited) anyhow need some good ideas for what to do . Remember this is the end of the world as we know it, so please don't think about the day after consequenses.

But I'm curious when the party is, and how you know it. Are you Mayan, or is this some nut-job cult calculation?

You really are putting to much thought into this Kfried, but if I must choose one I'll take nut job, you can make up the rules up as you go along.

Fireworks! Definitely gotta have fireworks. But I can't completely put safety out of my mind so, they must be shot so the residue lands in a large lake or river and not on people or any dry brush.

Firecat it is an end of the world party. I intend to rent an old roadhouse in town here which still has a gas island to shoot the fireworks from.

Wimps. 4.3 is nothing. I lived in San Fernando Valley when the Sylmar quake hit in '71. That one was 6.6. Threw me out of bed and bounced me off the floor a couple of times.

We had 4.3 aftershocks that felt like a someone had given you a nudge.

Yeah that is what I thought too, but we got kicked out of the place we intended to have it becouse of a few fireworks display issues. It would seem that many people are unable to grasp that it is THE END OF THE WORLD hence the bon voyage party.
